Fun new games in the works

We're building more daily challenges to sit alongside the trivia quiz. Here's a peek at what's next.

How we decide what to build next

Daily Trivia Quest started as a single five-question general knowledge round and has grown one game at a time, with daily riddles coming next. Each addition has to pass the same test — it must be playable in a couple of minutes, work on a phone without a download, and be fair enough that a casual player and a quiz obsessive can compare results.

Private groups is the most requested feature. Today the leaderboard is built around friend connections; groups would let a family, a class or an office keep a separate table with its own daily standings and weekly winner, without everyone needing to friend each other individually.

Geography guess takes the most popular quiz category and turns it into its own daily round: a mystery country revealed through clues, with a limited number of guesses. It is designed for people who arrive looking for a daily map puzzle and stay for the trivia.

Music round adds a short daily challenge built around one song, one artist and one year — the closest thing to a pub quiz music round that still works as a 60-second game.

What you can play right now

While these are in development, everything already on the site is free and complete: a new daily trivia quiz with five randomised categories, and three daily riddles. There is no release date on the games above — they ship when they are genuinely fun, not on a schedule.
